Are you in the mood to go out and find a nice, good ol potato slicer? Maybe your old one has seen its best days? Or maybe you just never had one, to begin with, and it’s time to start a trend of collection unique kitchen ware? Well, whatever your case may be, I am going to talk on this…. please listen up, as I know you always do, you guys! I am here for ya, and let’s begin!
So first of all, I own this potato slicer right in my own very home, so I can tell you that it is one worth your while — Amazon.com: Master Chef Hasselback Potato Slicer ( affiliate link )
It is made by Master Chef. Great brand. And it’s just $ 20. So if money is hard to come by, this one’s no sweat… you won’t spend really anything at all to get it. And it offers a life – time of value, to you. So… all in all, I’d say, it’s totally worth it!
And did you know that it can cut each and every one of your potatoes ( even the more thick ones that you happen to have in your batch, he he he he heh…. no joke ) evenly? It can. And this special tool does so both easily and quickly, if I might add to that, and all without leaving a huge mess… as other potato slicers can be known to do. And if you are worried, like most of us, about being able to keep that tater nice and steady, he he he heh, as you cut, then worry no more. I know… cutting your finger, missing the mark, having an unevenly – sliced potato, all these are common worries with a cause. We should all be concerned about these.
But with a product like this one, the wood base portion of it, right at the bottom, will keep the potato nice and steady every time that you cut. The nails under – neath the wood, which you can see in the Amazon page, just slightly protrude up – ward… so they sort of gently stab into the potato, from under – neath, and hold it firmly in its place. The upper portion of the product pins the potato further down, and voila — no need to worry about keeping things steady throughout the process. Nice to know, right?
And did ya know that this potato slicer is made of stainless – steel, too? Now, for features, that is certainly a nice bonus, if you were to ask anyone ( including me, he he he he heh ) ! People love this. Stainless steel is the best. And also, to add to that, you get a cutting guide with it… a nice little extra help to have. Buy it new, of course! That’s the way to go.
