Weber Hamburger Press Review

With over 1,700 Amazon ratings, and a tallied score of 4.5 stars or higher, based on all such ratings put together into a single main rating, this product is kicking butt on the dance floor and showing off all its moves. It’s really a burger press that says, “I rock. Get me.” and clearly shows such a message all over it. For instance, it’s got so many great features that it can keep anyone with their tongue hanging out of their mouth.
For one, it’s got its own handle for easy cleaning, which —- get this —- is totally detachable. I’m sold. But there’s more….
It even comes with its very own, one - of - a - kind grip handle made of Nylon. Cool, right? And it gets even better.
This item also does both 1 / 2 lb and 1 / 4 lb patties, so pick your poison, as they say. And get this : It also sells for a cheap $12 (though the product quality itself is not all too cheap, you still get a good product in return for that minimal cost, in my opinion). If you want those patties to be Army - style uniform, all in an orderly fashion and looking the same, he he heh, then this item will make that happen. Uniform, equally cut and pressed patties are a dream come true for many burger lovers, and having this product around in your kitchen is one such step to getting there. If you’re using this press, keep in mind the following —- it has been said that wax paper is what works best with it, so just stick a good layer on both the bottom and the top of the patty before you press down.
Many people mostly praise this press for the fact that its patties cook evenly. Yay, progress. And what’s more? Get this….that issue of them usually plumping right in the middle, as has been the known case with many other products and attempts, has not been so with this one. In fact, with Weber, such is not the case at all, leading to a more truly - satisfied user experience.
There is one small caveat — as Honest Abe, I do have to let you know about it so that you will just keep it in the back of your mind. When you press down that patty, make sure to keep things level, using both hands firmly, since failing to do so can and will lead to an uneven thickness in the overall final burger (one side more or less thick, etc.). It’s not a deal - breaker that is going to spell ‘doom’ for the entire galaxy, but it is still a small word of caution to think about, at the end of the day.
People have also noted being able to press about 4 - 5 patties in just 12 - 15 minutes, which is not bad at all. This product saves you effort. It saves you time. So try it. Don’t be afraid to give it a shot, and let me know how it went.
